- BBS down

+As of now, this might be a big problem. Somehow, tables got deleted from the BBS database. I don't yet know if this means that I will need to use an old backup, or if my host can resolve this problem. Along with database problems, my files have all been reverted to what they were like a month ago.

= Well, this is about as bad as it gets. My host was unable to restore my data. Due to my stupidity, the last backup I have is from very long ago... There will be much lost.
= I'm having problems restoring the BBS's database. The rest of the site should be fine, but the BBS is not looking good.
= Well, everything but the messages (aka the important stuff) has been restored. Keep in mind that all that everything will be over a month old. The newest thing on the BBS will be a post on the 15th of February.
= I was able to restore some data. Unfortunatly, this data is very old and not even all of it.
= Well, the BBS may be back online soon. I know that there are so many lost posts, but now we have posts from this year again... I got the original posts, and the new(est) posts. I'm nearly positive any posts that fall in the middle are gone.

IF YOU MADE AN ACCOUNT AT THE NG ARCHIVE IN THE LAST MONTH, YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER AGAIN

We are down about a thousand posts, nothing I can do.

+ Will be moving to a new web host soon, to minimize complications and the possibility of lost posts, the BBS has been shut down for a bit.

+ My domain expired, I am not currently able to renew it (thanks ADM!) so the site is down. I'm awaiting some info from the company that has my domain. I should be back up sometime next week.

+ At this point I really don't know when it will be back. I have hosting, all the files are fine, but with out a domain, everything is broken and useless.

+ Alright, it looks like the Archive will be dead for quite sometime. The domain (aksumka.net) is not under my control and has expired, but I can't re-register it until it expires again on the 22nd this month. So figure the site to be back up on the 25 (DNS propagation and all).

If you are desperate to get on the site, you can technically get to it.
Link to old index.
Most links won't work and you'll get a 404, so if you want say the levels page, you are going to have to type in ngarchive/levels to get it.

Don't waste your time trying to get to the bbs, its 100% dead now.

= I have a new domain! I'm sick of dealing with this crap, so I just bought Aksumka.com. At the moment I'm transferring all the NG Archive files over, so with a bit of luck and some skill, I just might have the archive back either today or tomorrow!

+ Well, I'm just cleaning up some pages now and everything is working fine. Everything that is except the BBS. I think there is a problem with it. I say think because I can get to it when using a proxy, but without one, I'm getting bumped to some random site that I have never heard of.

But everything else is just about back to normal!
